Situated on a high street famous for grand luxurious hotel,
Renaissance, New World, Concorde, Shangri-La, you get the idea
and just around the corner, a street full of great night life hang out place,
anyway, the point is, its a touristy place. :)
Why this post? i think Grand Maya is one of the oddest designed hotel that i've seen in KL.
and its....second to none. It's an enclosed space, like a SQUARE.
This one is the main drive way, between 2 lobbies.
and that Japanese or zen-like, wood brown colored open space,
leads to the swimming pool.
its interesting cos the room uses a lot of black and oak colored stuff.
that's a view of the bathroom from the bedroom,
yeah great view for great action from the inside *wink*
that's the KL Tower, the Twin Towers is not visible from this side of the hotel.
it was a hot evening, as u can tell from the sharp yellow rays.

we head to the pool.
thats our locker key, works like wristband, not that it hasnt been implmented in other parts of the world, but this is just a shot of a different design.
i ABSOLUTELY love this area, its the SAME WOOD BROWN area in the first picture posted,
except this is taken when im lounging in this...well, lounge!
Would i recommend u to go stay in Grand Maya?
not sure, depends on what you like anyway,
but i think its pretty convenient for foreign tourist cos of its location.
