Our itinerary

1. Brickfields Indian Lunch

2. Islamic Arts Museum

3. National Mosque

4. KL Railway Station

5. Sultan Abdul Samad Building (HighCourt)

6. Merdeka Square

7. Coliseum Cafe & Hotel

8. Musical - KL PAC, Sentul

We met at KL Sentral,

convenient as all major train routes centres here.

We walk into an Indian shop

spent RM5 for Curry Lunch & Ginger Tea.

To avoid being "overcharge" by cabbies,

We bought a RM 5 - Taxi Ticket

on the 2nd level of KL Sentral

to Islamic Arts Museum

I've been wanting to check this place out,

its suppose to have one of the largest collection

of Islamic heritage from around the world.

To be frank with you, i dunno what to expect.

The building is an amazing white washed site

just next to the National Mosque

The print on my skirt is a coincidence.

hahahahah!~

Paid RM12 for admission ticket

took the lift to the highest level

and begin exploring.

NO PICTURES ALLOWED.

but i cant help it!!!!!

One of my highlight is the MINI MOSQUE

but i didnt take any pics, u have to be there!

We walk towards National Mosque,

i'm a bit inappropriately dress,

so we didnt enter the praying area,

walk around the mosque admiring the structure.

Right across the street is the ancient

~Railway Station~
I wonder if you feel the same as me

trains = stories from the past

just by looking at it awashed me

with voices from the past.

not the eerie type la (-_-)llll

the romantic past okay..... We walk towards the direction of

Sultan Abdul Samad...but

Take a look back of the path you've trode

and you will notice just how

quaint this corner of KL is...

Across the building is Merdeka Square,

beautiful, well maintained grass...

venue of Malaya independence declared in 1957.

WALK towards Jln Tunku Abdul Rahman

(near Sogo shopping mall)

in search of the ancient Malaya/English-Coliseum

In the early years, this is a popular place

where lawyers and expats hang out

for a beer in the afternoon with english scones

a very smokey room

i can still smell 1960s

when i enter the legendary Coliseum Cafe. After eating Toast & Clubsandwiches (RM20++)

We took a cab back to KL Sentral (RM6)

and parted ways, cos i need to head to Sentul

to watch Cantonese Opera in KL PAC.

My phone is running low on battery

so i cant take any pics of the old railway station

transformed into a modern beautiful garden

But i have to take THIS!!!!! sooo cute!!!!i dont understand a lot of cantonese

let alone ANCIENT cantonese.....

but this is a beautiful play about

Imperial Tang & Concubine Yang
