activities for 18 year old,
VOLUNTEER lo!!!!~~
well thats cos its indeed a great age,
to get started pursuing fun things,
(well, volunteering is FUN to me)
i REGRET that i started so late at 21
some say its the perfect age,
cos you're legally considered an adult,
and now i'm 24, where do i go from here?
another junction? another cross road?
i wanted to pursue my studies in some foreign country,
taking up some foreign course with scholarship,
sounds too good to be true? yeah thats why,
i wonder how can i actually make that happen?
and if i cant, what are my alternatives?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i was busy updating themovs.blogspot.com
and it kept me thinking and awake about
a variety and a whole host of my other plans,
hmm...like where do i want to go from here?
i was thinking if i dont get to volunteer at Olympics,
one of this events below will be a fun project to pursue,
i wont meet so many friends from so many countries,
and so i thought i'd share with you all....
These are linked to the official or volunteers site,
please mouse over the words and click on it,
though with smaller sports events
you might NOT SEE a volunteers site.
that doesn't mean you have no way at all!
it means you have to put in extra effort!
to find the contact yourself :) BUT BE WISE!
Hey Miss Volunteer! Get a scholarship? http://ec.europa.eu/education/programmes/mundus/projects/index_en.html - it's for the Erasmus Mundus course (which was talked about in 'The Spanish Apartment'); tuition and living fees provided for quite a few courses. Shuxian and I were looking at it :)
Fei, it's never too late.... :-)
I remember those times when I volunteered for the 1998 Commonwealth Games....those where the days... :-)
