Relationship Status in Facebook

i got this really funny entry from

it was probably one of the first few entries,
that i was hooked on reading, haha,
because he's got some really interesting pics,
and also music too, if you're into that
ALSO ALSO from his blog that i saw that
anyway, back to my mainpoint, lol...
DFG (easy to type his name like that la)
is my COLLEAGUE AT WORK la!!!!!!!
anyway, i must post his entry here,
about the Relationship thingy in Facebook,
(FlyFM did a research recently on how 'effective' it is, it WAS!)
To me the relationship status in facebook is important,
cos your partner deserves the respect of being acknowledge,
i mean, some may claim  "social is about fun, why so serious?"
i dont know, but how do you feel if the girl that you've proclaimed
your undying love decided to disregard her status,
and still keeps it "open, single and looking for men"?
how would you feel? you dont mind that, at all?
(well, mayb i'm overthinking here, like i always do)
but i wonder is it because you trust her?
i think its not just about trust here,
if she's not even close to being EAGER to change
her status that she's in a relationship with you,
after your earth shattering confession,
will you not doubt the effectiveness of your confession &
maybe her real feelings towards you???
i mean, from my point of view,
when i've finally decided to enter a relationship,
and that he is the one that i really like,
i'd be eager to change my relationship status
to state that i'm with him, because i'm proud of him!
but because i'm a girl, i'd scared the shit out of him,
if i do that first right? so personally its much sweeter,
if the guy would take the first step by asking the girl,
well, you dont have to agree with me really,
i'm just saying that its important and
this is just how i see it, and i think,
it would mean a lot to someone
to be acknowledge and accepted...
lol, im not a love guru, isssshh!

LOL. Fei, I can't remember when I blogged about that pic. But on a serious note, if she/he disregards the status and still keeps it as open, that means she/he doesn't deserve your respect, and also possibly a commitment phobe, or even worse, waiting for a BETTER person to come a long - you're just a back up.

These kind of people, are not worth fighting for.
