tech news is NOT that boring REALLY.
i mean, in recent months,
tech news is becoming a source
of inspiration for thinking out of the box
and has recently been my top choice,
more like because i've been a heavy
GOOGLE user,
you dont realize that???
Gtalk , Gmail, Youtube, Chrome, iGoogleetc,
just about everything is Google~
ANYWAY, news is about this company call
Apple, DUH, the smart company that
came out with their range of "i" brand
like u know, ipod, imac, iphone etc,
i just find it amazing when i read this news
Stanford offers iPhone application course
er........WHAT IS THAT????
iPHONE is now into EDUCATION????
basically, this programme offered by iPhone
is called the iPhone Developer University Programme
and why Stanford uni??? because
it is one of the first to offer online courses
downloadable to your ipod, and study on the go
I am extremely intrigued by the iPhone course offered,
basically, if you sign up for this course,
you learn & also develop APPLICATIONS for iPHONE!
iPHONE will provide course materials like
software development kit,
center resources and App Store distribution.
WAH, Apple are very smart right????
say for example, in the company,
iPHONE application team has 10 staff,
dedicated in creating applications for the phone
now they offer the course in Stanford,
which apparently has 80 students enrolled,
that's 80 brains trained & creating,
with high possibility of successful
applications developed by them,
and earning bucks and bucks with it!
well, first they need to pay for their courses
and paying to WORK for Apple.
i think this is smart of Apple to outsource BRAINS!
instead of traditional recruiting the BEST MINDS,
which probably cost like a bomb, so now,
Apple offers a programme, to up and coming
talents, nurture them, (prbbly fans of iphone too!)
i mean it make sense right??? if ur a fan of iphone,
you will know exactly what u want from the phone,
and if $$$ is not the drive for you to see it through,
you need to live in another planet!
with this course, Apple not only earn loyalty,
but publicity, branding, R&D, future employee,
all in one package just because of a course offered!!!

allowing students to use 5 specific applications,
1. to add/drop courses, plan schedules,
2. look up other students in Stanford's directory,
3. view/pay school bills,
4. look up class locations,
5. check the latest football scores !
If you think your local university should
offer course like this, APPLY HERE.
i totally think TAR College should offer this in Mass Comm,
come on, we need to keep up with the times !!!
imagine one of your tarcian collegemate, actually
succeeding in this and then becoming as famous as
Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook!
i think this is a supergood Uni or College PR strategy.
