AND its only 15mins away from my house,
i've never been there before, mainly because i wasnt convinced,
so one day, after much persuasion from Mary,
i've decided 'thats it, if its my time, its my time to go!'
(im referring to dying not referring to going to bukit tabur)
we started the climb at an ungodly hour of 6am,
lead by 2 new friends who's been here b4,
can you see my house????????????????

KK (not in the picture) is the front guide,
Elaine (at the end of this pic in white cap) is the back guide,
the 4 of us in the middle is virgin to this bukit tabur.
(as you can tell from Steph's grimace expression)

when we reach the FIRST PEAK, this is amazing,
we stopped and waited for the sunrise until 7am ish.
we get a great view of the dam as well when sun is up.
we asked someone else who was hiking to help us take la
clouds beneath our feet, how amazing is that~~
(apparently this is one of the best weather day wor!)
i vote for RETURN because i felt intimidated,
but majority of them vote FORWARD for the adventure,
so i had to go with them, sadly i dont remember how to go back :(
since this is called Scattered Mountain,
we had to climb UP & DOWN on all 3 peaks scattered,
HONESTLY, i felt a little bit intimidated with the height,
can you see how Mary is dangerously sitting there testing rocks??!
we're suppose to get to the OTHER peak as well...geesh.
this is the FAMOUS spot of roping down
this is the FAMOUS spot of roping down'girl who lost her grip and fell 100m'
hit the rocks prbbly and was seriously injured!
not recommended, so we took a SAFER route
and take a picture from across, i worry for these kids,
but they manage to climb down in the end,
Mary saw the BIGGEST SNAKE OF HER LIFE!!!
Me and MayLeng was very LUCKY for not 'discovering' it,
we only manage to look at the picture later
bcos AVOIDED eye contact with the snake while walking pass...
it was Ralph who took this picture, CRAZY FELLA!!!!
this is just trying hard to look very confident pic...
climbing down.....

going up another peak yet again...

going downhill again...BUT THE VIEW.....awww..

this is us RELIEF after conquering all 3 peaks,
sitting on the green moss shaded by trees,
stuffing our face with chocolate cookies!

this is us VERY VERY VERY RELIEF to have finally touch GROUND!

Recommendations for Bukit Tabur, Taman Melawati
1. go with a guide or someone familiar with the trail
2. sunrise is the best time, bring head lamp,
3. wear long pants to avoid getting cuts
4. wear cheap gardening gloves to avoid cuts
5. bring insect repellent, lots of water
6. have fun and its worth the while!
