from Russia with love

mom told me it was a full 24 hour flight to Moscow
O_o
the first sight of the famous Red Square
>_< (sooo bright...)
if you do not know Alexander the Great I,II,III
go wikipedia (:P)
what i know is, they are great Russian Emperors,
and one of them has pretty cool fashion sense,
cos he designs the COURT dresses and outifts!
MY FAVORITE PIC OF ALL.
how RUSSIAN CAN U GET FROM THIS???
V_E_R_Y!
Aaahhhhh... the colorful domes of St Basil
in RED SQUARE.
a UNESCO World Heritage site
(Russian: Красная площадь, Krasnaya ploshchad)
they head to a famous BARGAIN-able shopping place....
(it sounds something like Izmailsky..)
"MARKET PLACE" ?_?
looks more like entrance to some Disneyland!_!
aaaah....cultural stufff.....cooodos!~

its really AMAZING how small the world is,
these are a bunch of Malaysian students
currently pursuing medical studies in Moscow
6 years at least!!!!
and one of them was so kind
(and prbbly bored and doesnt wanna go back to his hostel)
and accompanied mom & friends to bargain in the market!
thank goodness for someone who speaks the language
they get BETTER discount rates!
Music Box, if i could, i would. (~_~)
its like one of those expensive, rare items
that you would like to keep as a souvenir.
trust me, good music box are hard to find!
and the rows and rows of Slavic crafts!!!~~
D_O_L_L_S!!!!! (@_@)
you can pose with the tradionally clothed men for photos.
im MORE interested in those furry hats....
wonder what FUR are they made from.....
bears and foxes? I remember reading it somewhere...
yah.....MAYBE. this is soo awful to look at.
#_#
Leather jackets are like everywhere
pig skin, bear skin (??) and more
they have language barrier when they were asking
"what is this made from?"
and basically the owner & his wife
had to IMITATE the sounds and grunts of the
respective animal of each leather jacket to explain.
OMYGAWD, thats PRICELESS!!!! lmao!~
the locals and the foreigners
they are colleagues now. nice. ^_^
the Malaysian Embassy in Moscow held a welcome dinner
serving Malaysian style chicken, KUIHS (cakes??)
one big happy family!
the guy with the kid is obviously the ambassador-la!~
WHITE HOUSE.
McDonalds all around the world are captured in pictures.
trust me, they are a tourist attraction!!!
Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers
A polished red granite war memorial for soliders
killed in the 1941 Battle of Moscow.
Located at the Kremlin Wall,
in the Alexander Garden
OMGAWD, this is priceless too!!!
fake-PUTIN for Kodak moment!!!!
^ LOL ^
Take a look in just ONE picture,
this is RUSSIA
MODERN but it seem to fall into HISTORY
what people endured & preserved till now
as far as i know
they are great contributors to arts & music
ballets, musical, slavic art....
Red Square is closed on certain days
(i think in this case, Wednesday)
Anyway, the ladies are considered guest of honor of Putin,
so they can access and walk anywhere they like
in the public-restricted area...
how VVVVIP can you get when u travel... ^_^
i still cannot believe that SLIM briefcase
contains WEAPONS.
some sights. i guess you just have to be there.
prbbly due to the long history of adversities in Russia
their SECURITY is like one of the top rated in the world
bullet proof vehicles, sharp shooter, and multiple escorts
im talking about 7 cars of bodyguards to one president here!
local & foreign escorts
last day is always pic day
but i think they are just too busy
so they crammed everyone in one pic. LOL
this character in PINK tie stands out.
(one of the gun-loaded guy in one of the pic above)
mom says the first day they saw him
he was wearing a
SKY BLUE SUIT!
soooooooo funky!
he's the chief protocol
aiyah too many of them i cant remember what they do.

thats all folks!

i dont think im allowed to post these,

but what the heck.

Russia is so Romantic.
