PAUSE. its Jazz Fesitval in Genting

it was Friday.
We head straight to Genting Highlands after working hours
For the 2 day event of International Jazz Festival.
Tickets courtesy of Adam, with the company of Bernise and Shuxian.
Sadly, my digital cam is in hospital,
i can only see it a month later....
hence, no pics from my side.

When the music starts, Shuxian and I can't wait to dance,

but we didnt dance until the last performance. LOL~

I dont know a lot or listen to jazz, but

My top 3 personal favorite are

Cape Town - All Stars (they look so jazzy)

Tangalgo (modern jazz)

Gangbe Brass Band (from Benin, South Africa and they're just so ethnic!)

We only attended the first day event, cos we were soooo busy and all booked during weekend.

Being VIP has its perks, Adam was practically 'worshipped' by the Genting PR's, we have 2 personal staff to attend to us, and the PIC of the festival stayed with us throughout the show! Got us free room stay in Genting Hotel, free meals, free this and that and ordered a FULL TABLE of Heineken for us, (but, i dont drink a lot beer. ) When he knew its my birthday soon, thanks to blabber mouth Adam, guess what the PIC did? He actually send an SMS to the MC who was hosting the show on the stage, and the MC read out the SMS and make the whole music hall, over a 1,000 audience to sing birthday song to me. (-_-)

ok, i have to say i was shocked and embarassed, and thank you for the GREAT surprise.... and the objective of this post is... i think i kinda like jazz.

even though i've always stress on this
"i'm not a big birthday person"
and yet you've always turn my words over,
ALL OF YOU!!!
Make me a very happy person
with all your special ways and thoughts. TQ.
i dont know much
and i really dont mind,
if i just celebrate it quietly with a book.
i like to just sit
and watch people happy on their birthdays,
thats like the nicest feeling on earth
to see someone else happy.
and thats all i want for my birthday,
for you to be as happy as you can be. ^_^
