"it is the weirdest sensation, you will start to notice,
its there, hanging on the bridge of your nose,
before it came into my life, my vision was blurred,
just like an OLD TV SET inherited from grandparents,
literally, now that it has entered my life, in an instant,
colors came alive, lights dazzles me, the weight bothers me,
so amazed & yet disturbed, i took it off to breathe slowly,
cos i was nervous about wearing it in public....
i saw the lights, like sparkling diamond,
i saw the car plate in front of me, crystal clear,
i saw rows of shops, looking brand new,
even though they were here for the past 10 years"

i feel like, after kindergarten, learnt ABC and
i'm sitting in the car, pointing at signboards,
and reading it out loud, spelling words,
counting numbers as my mom drove us home,
i can't wait to show off my skills to mommy.
