Day 4: Athabasca Falls

the next morning, we left Jasper for Banff,
now this is the famous highway between 2 national parks,
cos you have lots of scenic spot to stop for picnic,
and sightseeing, hiking or just taking pics,
its a one way highway, pretty easy, wont get lost!
wildlife crossing and a coffee toffee to start the day!
our first stop was Athabasca Falls,
it starts i think right behind me,
pretty cold, the wind is not so strong,
but the sun is glaring and bright and
awesome for happy photos!
thats the canyon where the Athabasca Falls
flows down underneath... lets see

Oooohhh its pretty rapid!! but partly frozen!
i saw some pictures from the calendar,
its pretty BIG in the summer!
this is only part of the falls where it
flows into a river, look at the colors,
and imagine the cold!

this is the other part of the bride,
where we're standing and we can see its pretty
frozen...with footprints! how dangerous!
and we walk down the stairs to another view

see, if u fall into the cold water,
hypothermia hits and ur gonna die in seconds!
so keep on the trail if ur without an experience guide!
this is a breathtaking view of the river/lake
from Athabasca Falls, frozen.....

Eh.... what is she doing down therE????? it looks pretty dangerous!
but its such a sight to behold,
i think she's got a better view than us,
from the top! but its not really safe!
if she keeps walking!

there were many footprints in the snow,
anyway, saw this bench!
cant help but want to sit on the fluffy snow,
SO SILLY!!!! bum bum was wet after that!

and we walk thru the PUFFY deep snow,
and its a necessity i guess, for every car,
to have one of these brushes to brush off the snow,
and also the snow on your body!
Next stop: Sunwapta Falls
