EVA AIR: In Flight Entertainment (IFE)

to and fro to Taipei, Taiwan with Eva Air
what do i do? watch movie and read lor.
i forgot to check out plane that i was on,
im not sure was it a boeing or an airbus, whatever it is,
the going to taipei flight from malaysia is spacious.
its a 2 - 4 - 2 seater, but the first row is like only a 2 seater,
with lots of leg room and aesthetically, internal cabin was painted,
like cabin art, with luscious green trees painting, very comfy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
we had a portable monitor, with linear channels fix to our seat,
because we're seated near the emergency exit,
and there's no other passenger in front of us,
thus no fix to the back seat AVOD screen for us,
the portable one is not too bad, but the audio is horrible,
i was watching Casino Royale and the audio switches
with the other channels and i can hear gibberish in Japanese,
the downside with linear channel IFE is that you cant
enjoy the programming continuously, cos there's like a break,
of about 30mins or so, while the cabin crew serve your meal
after the break, it was a shorter TV programming about
1 hour or 30mins depending on channels,
so i watched CSI and that was it for going to Taipei
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOW, coming back from Taipei was what i would prefer,
your personal AVOD IFE system with movies & TV shows!
i calculated that i only have abt 5 hours or so flight time,
so i can manage 2 movies back to back,
cos usually u dont get to watch during take off or landing,
they will freeze the whole IFE system right,
plus minus toilet break time, i have about 4 hours plus.
so the moment the plane was on the runaway gathering speed,
i flip open the magazine and thumbed through potential movies,
Regional Flights has less movie choices compared to Long Haul,
since Taiwan - KL is regional, of all the films available
(only 6 films if im not mistaken, and other TV stuff)
i chose Twillight for the Hollywood category
because sometimes im still a sucker for tweens movie,
u know get in touch n roll with the young ones yoh!
for the 2nd choice, i was really please they have foreign movies,
it was either a movie set in Paris or Latin American,
but too much Paris themed movie for the past months,
so i thought Latin American would be an interesting pov!
besides, i seem to read it somewhere they won some award,
so ESTÔMAGO – A Gastronomic Story is it!
