It is almost a cliche to begin a story when the sun rises up,
behind the clouds a plane shoots up and in anticipation,
we make a wish, so many times until our signal crosses
cos we know this is going to be a great memorable beach holiday.
it may seem like forever to reach paradise, but we arrived.
our feet first crush the corals before we're able to feel the sandy beach
everything so foreign, so new, so familiar, so unexpected.
looking up into the sky, you pointed out to me "a full moon"
i said "no wonder, something feels odd"
we both smiled knowingly.
it feels like a new chapter is writing on its own,
we may have known each other for ages,
but there seemed to be always something new
to make me feel like..... to re-write the story all over again!
just like everyone else that you met, to bind them all,
not with a ring, but with a memorable snapshot.
