after an eventful Friday in Malacca
with mixed feelings trying to adjust my feelings,
arriving in KK is a great feeling, even tho its work,
honestly felt like being transported completely already,
i cant place it, but there's something about KK city centre,
that is so different from the trips long ago,
how should i say? that its getting very Manila-like?
after the forum i finally got a chance to walk around,
i was alone, cos everyone has their own plans,
my target is to shop for a skirt & the kampung adidas for mt KK,
i exit Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu,
super comfy makes u just wanna stay in the room
(but im not saying that i had a good experience with their banquet staff,
they HARDLY smile,and honestly after talking to at least 5 different staff,
i have a feeling that they were actually trained to have the mind set that
GUEST'S REQUEST IS A CHORE, NOT A SERVICE! geesh)
oh yah, TOILETRIES, remember how i have that mentality that,
SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....
happily classify this as yet another top hotel with nice toiletries lor,
Shampoo & Conditioner are both Orange Blossom
the Bath & Shower gel i think its Lime Basil
Body Lotion is my favorite its Grape Fruit,
if im not mistaken this is the second time i came across
'Mouthwash' as part of the toiletries package in top hotels.
exiting the hotel i head LEFT to Center Point,
when i was crossing the the road, dust was crazy!
i walked the exact same street 4 years ago and the air was ok,
i hang around the ground floor and decided against exploring it,

because of the shops & the crowd too busy,
so i head out towards Warisan Square, right beside it,
i walked every floor, mainly because its smaller,
and its less crowded but less shops cos i think its new,
explored 2 shops and decided on a RM40 skirt,
the service is a big big difference from KL,
i wasnt angered just amused that they take long time,
its prbbly the lifestyle, chilled, relax, restless,
i asked for my size, she flipped thru and there isnt a size,
and she left it at that point and walkway! haha
if it was in KL, the staff would try their best to pick something
to make sure you would at least buy something & stay with u,
so i picked some other size, went into the changing room,
came out, decide to try few different ones again,
all this while the staff was just standing somewhere else,
totally oblivious that im getting frustrated, in the end,
when i chose one, she just sauntered to the cashier......

a big contrast between Centre Point & Warisan Square is that,
the former is predominantly malays shopper while the latter
has more chinese shopper, its weird cos they're just beside each other.
walked out towards the Filipino market and Beach water front,
because the sun was setting, its like one of the most famous sight,
right here in KK, the whole vista is perfect.
but its so lonely to be there alone,
found a spot to stand and watch the last few rays,
its so pretty i took a picture and MMS it to Mary
(trying to motivate her for the coming KK trip in May)
phone quality not good at all, the sun was bright ORANGE.
not sure where to go even tho i kinda know what to do around there,
so i cut through the filipino market where stalls were set up,
and it started from Vege & Fruits, to Poultry,
to the end where the Grilled Fish was, many stalls,
it was so smoky i can smell my own face smelling like fish.
i pass the market and walk pass the Fruits & Seafood market,
that's prbbly where i started to feel touristy even as a Malaysian,
there were people speaking Tagalog everywhere,
i didnt think much of it until i reach the Pasar Besar KK,
and KK Plaza which were a distance away from the markets,
i walked into a few shoe shops looking for the adidas kampung,
and there were more filipino working there than locals,
i just find it so amusing and i dont feel at home like last time,
i remember vaguely there's a Wisma Merdeka
even tho its DARK now, i thought i shud be okay,
and i walked along the lonely lanes really quickly
but i decided against it halfway through cos
no matter which direction i run i'll never find anyone,
so i turn around and head back to the busy street again

i bought mangoes for dinner in the room,
even tho i have packed nice baju to go out,
i was so tired and i feel uncomfortable going out alone,
so i end up watching about 5 movies
