I Lost My Patience With The Chinese Tourist In Macau & Herbie Cry

Guys & Dolls,
(learn from my boss wan...i like)
Be ready for this in Macau.
I know for sure I can't describe
How HAZY it is to Ariel & Felice
So I took a picture when I'm heading towards The Venetian
(which is also near the airport)But The Venetian simply AWED me away!
The BLUE SKY is.....moving......
i think its an illusion, cos as you walk,
you feel like its moving clouds!
amazing, it even have hues of pink,
in certain areas to depict sunsets...!!!!
The closest to the Official Manchester United store
you can get in Asia! Eng Seng will love this!
and maybe Li Ling & Connie too...
(and many more of them i dont want to list down
because there's just too many!!!! and i dont like, haha!)Today is the day i lost my PATIENCE
with the tourist. im being very racist,
im chinese, and i hate chinese tourist!
ARGH!!!! I'm Malaysian Chinese and I insist!
I was waiting for WZ in the Hotel Lobby
(after a Korean lunch in the foodcourt,
really happy, even tho its not as good compared to
ones that Koreans in Malaysia prepared, cost HKD60)
There's a chair, i have 2 big bags, so i put one on the floor,
the other, because i was trying to rearrange it,
so i put it beside me, but im FULLY AWARE that
tourists will be hogging that area for picture.
so everytime they come around, i stood up,
and take my bags away so they can take a picture,
without me being in their holiday picture.
so I stood up about three times, until this CHINESE LADY,
came around, before i even manage to bend down
and pick up my heavy bag, she 'SLAP SLAP'
on my bag!!!!! (@_@)!! i was soooo f**** pissed!
Never mind, i still take my bag away.
WZ came around 3pm, so we head into The Venetian again,
for a quick meal before we head to the airport later.
I told him about ALL (there's more than one)
"BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CHINESE TOURIST"
and i declared, im going to be
VERY SUPER SUPER CHINESE!!!
so when i take pictures of WZ, i scream in chinese
"get lost, are you blind?" (no response from them)
i pulled WZ to WALK IN FRONT when they are taking pictures
(no response from them)
the last straw was this....... its an exhibition,
YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO TOUCH THEM, right?
being Chinese, NO! Curiosity means you can touch!
We were 'fighting' (merebut-rebut) for a place,
to take picture with the mime. One guy, push me away,
and got to the podium first, WZ was being polite,
and the chinese guy touch the Mime, the Venetian staff,
immediately came forth and forbid him in english
"no touching no touching!"Guess what the chinese guy did?
He hold the mimer with both hands,
one on the shoulder, one on the arm,
and he SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE and say
"cannot touch? cannot touch? cannot touch?"
as if to make a point of victory that he touch the mimer!
i actually scream (WZ is embarassed) SCREAM,
"You STUPID AH! HE SAY CANNOT TOUCH!!"
(Ni Ben Dan Ah! Ta Shuo Bu Ke Yi Peng! Ben Dan!")
Then i push Mr Polite Ling Wei Zhen up to the podium
I said "Quickly go for it! Ignore them"
But in actual I said in mandarin,
"Kuai Dian Qiang qiang qiang! Bu yao li ta men!!"
Then i plant myself SMACK in the middle of the spot,
took a picture and remain standing there checking my picture,
on purpose to block everyone else,
im Chinese mah... cannot meh?
and this Chinese Uncle, behind me, was doing this
"sheez sheezzz sheezz!!!" meaning 'excuse me'.
so chinese. har har har har... i yell,
"WAIT LA" - "deng xia lar!"
but decided to quickly go first, cos he will punch me.
i know they will, we're chinese, we dont give face one.
Anyway, after all the drama, when food comes...
i'm finally calmed..... suddenly i saw Herbie sitting there...
with tears piling up in his big glassy eyes....
i guess he's going to miss the excitement of this trip.
or maybe he is just too happy to go home.
after all the drama.
i asked him, "herb's you okay?"
Herbie rubbed his eyes, nod nod,
and the tears poured down his cheek....

Ferry To Hong Kong (Day 1)

can't wait to check out that San Va dump,
i woke up 8am to get ready for a business appointment,
even tho this is a holiday trip, but i can't IGNORE
the fact that i'm only prbbly a few miles away
from my potential clients n i really wanna excel in my work.
so an hour meeting wont harm my trip.
and it turn out to be a good meeting,
i learnt so much about broadcasting in macau,
and the most important thing is, we talk money. good step!
we checked out, got some final Fishball near St Paul's Ruins,
we walk all the way there just because....
(WZ lost his RM150 Mercedes Benz shades, yesterday evening,
while posing in that super carefree/frivolous stunt
so we return to the scene ... but of cos its GONE already lor)
we took a cab to the Ferry Terminal only HKD 32.
Between Turbo Jet & First Ferry, we chose First Ferry,
cos the signs are easier to spot, har har..... it cost HKD140.
we were really ambitious, thought we wanna get DIM SUM
the moment we arrive in Tsim Sa Tsui (TST), Hong Kong.
But we were sooooo delayed at the customs,
so we decided to head straight to Causeway Bay via MTR
to check into our Hong Kong Hostel.
(We highly recommend/prefer it, compared to TST area)
I ACTUALLY FEEL GLAD n SAFE n SATISFIED here! :)
Private Bathroom (small but well equipped)
hot shower & fan to exhaust smelly poo.
GOT FREE INTERNET EY! (Level 3)
AIR COND EY!
GOT TV EY!
GOT FRIDGE EY!
Even Herbie Heaved A Sigh Of Relief!
We were famished, its 4pm by the time we settled.
We head out onto Patterson Street,
(dont even have mood to go see EDC Clot/Juice shop)
just wanna eat eat eat, first thing we saw.
MC DONALDS!!!!!!!
Highly recommended, as we GOBBLED like GHOST.
(we look so touristy, holding burger in one hand,
digital camera on the other)
Wasabi sauce to go with McNuggets AND
Kimchi flavored seasoning to shake with Fries AND
the PORK VERSION of Sausage McMuffin!!!!!
(cant get that in Malaysia mah...)
Throughout the whole HK trip,
i had 2 McD's, while WZ had 3 sets.... (@_@)
it was drizzling, so we shop in the iconic
Time Square in Causeway Bay.
easy to locate, we don't even have a map.
shop shop shop and shop.... spent the most in
ZARA, nothing much to boast about,
except for good bargains and lovely colors.
and yeah, TRAVEL LIGHT please.
we wore slippers and shorts while we're there.
looking like bummers with no proper work, haha!
We meet up with our Piano Teacher's Best Friend,
Crystal JieJie who now resides in HK.
She's so sweet eh! She drove all the way
just to fetch us from our hostel,
and head to TST (paying HKD25 for the toll) for dinner
send us back to our hostel (paying another HKD25 for toll)
and drove back to Kowloon to her home! (paying another HKD25!!!)
no wonder she say "Buy Car Easy, Car Maintenance Hard"
View from MegaBox carpark (brand new mall in HK)
isnt it.... DAZZLING???
it was so breathtaking, we stood there for a while. admiring.
Hong Kong...City Of Lights.... in a very superstitious ideal,
its Sparkling with Gold / $$$ / Luck / Prosperity. lol.
(special note to Amanda, MY COMMENT SO GT right?????!!!)
We had dinner in this POSH Chinese Restaurant.
we were GAP-ed looking at the $$$,
this is coming to THE END of our meal,
still so much for THREE OF US.
MegaBox has one of the biggest iced-rink in HK!!!
Herbie so excited, keep pointing inside and bobbing his head
"Baba! Baba! Baba! Baba!"
But Herbie wasn't at all excited about the fact that
we ordered DURIAN DESSERT
(just like his Ba, he doesn't like Durian)
Look at him, making ugly faces, so rude. EY!

San Va Hotel, Macau

San Va Hotel is really a DUMP.
STAY AWAY!!!!!
i'd rather, (come to think of it now)
spend an EXTRA HKD500
to stay in proper hotel.
i'm READY for the Public Bathroom.
but not WITH THESE............ ANCIENT...........STUFFF......
IN MY ROOM WHERE I'M SLEEPING!!!!
I DONT F************ CARE
EVEN IF YOU ARE FEATURED IN A
PRADA PHOTOSHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS CREEPS ME OUT TOTALLY.
AN ANCIENT MIRROR WRAP IN NEWSPAPER????
AND WE CAN HEAR OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR
T.A.L.K.I.N.G.
BECOS THE WALL DOESNT EVEN TOUCH THE CEILING!!!!!

i know i know i am sooo totally whiny about this.
i can't deny that it is indeed an experience....to stay here
but i was hoping it'd be better.
my mistake to fall for the idea of 'historical'.....
in the end.....
i just want to go home!!!!!

Counting Macau & HK

FFFuiiyoh.... Travel Planning?????
acknowledging my math rational
equivalent to a 12 year old (or less....)
i started doing this long-ish excel calculation
ever since i booked AirAsia to Macau in 2007!
i totally am taking serious steps of PRECAUTION
every single detail i can list it out, i list it.
every single cost that i can calculate, i calculate it.
this is because, im NOT travelling alone,
im travelling with my brother and
getting myself into trouble is one thing,
getting myself AND my bro into trouble is another!
what kinda trouble?????
OVERSPENDING FOR SHOPPING LOR!!!!!!
besides its not easy to save money okay. (=_=)
and this is like his Bday present.....you say leh.....
must ensure he is happy one ge mah!!!~
all my references for the calculation were GOOGLED.
currently im flipping through the stacks of mags
from Alex C, who took it from HK for me.
i think we're pretty safe with doughs,
just a little bit sad that i can't meet my target
to bring more cash to splurge....
due to unforeseen circumstances. SIGH.
nevertheless, I WILL MAKE SURE ITS FUN FILLED!

Air Asia Promos

stupid air asia promotion.
from buy one get one free promo,
to the UN-MAHAL promotion
and that "99,whatver" FREE seats to Indonesia,
all of the above, when i receive an email alert,
i calmly accept due to the fact that
my 2007 is nearly fully booked even before 2007.
because the equation is
not enough time + not enough cash = limited travels.
UNTIL THIS MORNING, wah lao whey!!!!...
AIR ASIA flies direct to HONG KONG now???!!!!
I swear like no one's business on a quiet morning.
But I calmly click the link to the website,
it says Booking Period - MARCH
and....i HOLD MY BREATH....
to check the Travelling Period.....
its .... M.A.Y.
(sigh....fugg!)
fugg fugg fugg!!!!!
I booked a flight to MACAU last year
bcos I want to go to Hong Kong this year in MAY
AND air asia better make sure the
direct flight to HK vs direct flight to Macau
PRICE difference is a HUGE MARGIN!!!!
if not...... i will feel stupid... for not waiting....
so i checked, its RM519.98 to HK.
Okay, not bad, RM100 more expensive
than my original ticket to Macau....
BUT WAIT A MINUTE.....
From Macau I have to take a ferry to HK,
that already cost like a 100 bucks right????
~~~~~~~~****~~~~~
sigh... i guess its never enough to please a person.
